Padel court booking: online reservations for your padel club

Padel is growing fast, and at many clubs the padel courts are fully booked within minutes. That makes a fair and clear booking system even more important than for tennis. Padel also works differently: a match usually lasts 90 minutes and is almost always played with four players.

A fixed playing time per court

Where tennis clubs often link the playing time to the number of players, padel works best with a fixed block. Most clubs choose 90 minutes, some 60. Set the playing time per court, so a padel court and a tennis court can each follow their own rule on the same board.

Four players, all on the booking

Ask members to add all four players when they book. Everyone then knows they are playing, everyone gets a confirmation, and booking limits count for every player, not just the one who booked. That prevents one member from claiming the court every evening on behalf of others.

Fair rules for popular courts

• Booking window: let members book a limited number of days ahead, for example seven.
• Maximum bookings per member: count bookings as a playing partner too.
• Peak hours: keep an eye on evenings and weekends and adjust the rules if the same group always gets the court.
• Cancel in time: make cancelling easy, so a free court becomes available for someone else.

Guests on the padel court

Padel is a social sport, and members often bring a friend who is not a member. Decide whether that is allowed and whether guests pay a fee. If they do, online payment at the moment of booking saves the club desk a lot of collecting afterwards.

Tennis and padel on one board

Many clubs have both. Show all courts on one board, with the sport per court. Members see everything at once and the committee manages one system instead of two.
